- The company can now operate within the Kingdom's regulatory sandbox to deploy its innovative solutions to investors.
- This move is in line with the CMA's dedication to promoting innovation in the financial sector and supporting digital transformation.
In a recent announcement, the Capital Market Authority (CMA) revealed that Lamha Tanbu has successfully met all the requirements to kick off its financial technology (FinTech) experimental permit. This milestone allows the company to utilize artificial intelligence in its financial advisory services and operate within the Kingdom's regulatory sandbox. The decision to commence operations follows the CMA Board's approval in May 2025, granting Lamha Tanbu the initial permit for technology trials. Governed by the Capital Market Law and its executive regulations, this authorization positions Lamha Tanbu to deploy its AI-driven advisory solutions to investors, aligning with the CMA's mission to encourage innovation in the financial sector and provide a structured environment for emerging technologies. The CMA remains dedicated to overseeing the FinTech Experimental Permit framework to ensure market integrity, investor protection, and to support digital transformation in the Saudi capital market.
